A Letter from The CEO of Florence
We are now one week into 2019 and we are all looking forward to what is going to be a massive year here at Florence. I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on what we've achieved over the last twelve months, let you know our priorities for the coming year and say thank you for your support so far.
We started Florence in 2017 with the purpose of doing all we can to support our clients and nurses to provide people with the care and dignity that they deserve. We are determined to build a service that has the needs of our users at its core and, as such, we promise to continually strive to create a platform based around your needs.
We are just starting out on this journey and I want to start off by saying thank you to every single person that is helping us achieve our goal.
2018 was an exciting time for Florence. Over the course of the year we grew from a small operation in the South East of England to providing coverage across all of England and Wales. But we are a long way from being finished.
In some areas of the country we know that there are not enough shifts, in some areas there are not enough nurses. We are working tirelessly to close this gap but we would love your help.
