DC Care Sells Safe Haven Care to Mysa Care
On behalf of our clients Dafydd and Davina Edwards, DC Care is delighted to announce the successful sale of Safe Haven Care & Holiday Lodges, located on a substantial site in Wattsville, South Wales.
The care home is registered with the Care Inspectorate for Wales to provide care for up to five service users with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health conditions. The business includes three Holiday Lodges and Private Living Accommodation nearby.
Our clients operated the business from 2008 after their family first took ownership in 1998. DC Care was instructed to market the home and a buyer was found, the specialist care operator Mysa Care.

After the sale had completed, our buyer’s representative Chris Breen commented "Mysa Care recently completed on the purchase of Safe Haven Care and we are really happy to be welcoming everyone who lives there, their family members and our new colleagues. We worked closely with Dafydd and Davina throughout the sale process and DC Care, acting as the seller’s broker, were extremely helpful throughout providing clear communication, timely support, and expert guidance. Their involvement made the acquisition process run smoothly and we’re grateful for their assistance."
Our client Dafydd Edwards commented "We recently completed the sale of our company Safe Haven Care Home and Lodges Limited to Mysa Care, Andy and Clare at DC Care were extremely helpful with the process, as was Jonathan in the office. The sale was very quick and Sheila Morgan from Mysa Care was very helpful with co-ordinating the process from start to finish. I wish Mysa Care all the very best in the future with their progressing growth and DC Care who without their expert knowledge we would have found it difficult to find a buyer."
The sale of Safe Haven Care was managed by DC Care’s Director Andy Sandel and Senior Sales Negotiator Clare Duffey. Clare commented "Safe Haven Care was a unique opportunity with the inclusion of holiday lodges located a short distance away from the care home. It was felt this opportunity would be most suited for existing specialist care operators and we were delighted to work closely with Mysa Care. Andy and I look forward to sourcing their next care opportunity and would like to wish our clients Dafydd and Davina all the best for the future."
