Todays Spring Forcast Statement - 3 March 2026
Overview
As anticipated, the Chancellor has not made any changes to tax rates or allowances and has focused on public expenditure. This follows the same approach taken by the Chancellor in her Statement on 26 March 2025.
Since the Chancellor’s Autumn Budget on 26 November 2025, the changes have been -
- Increase in the 100% allowance for agricultural and business property relief from £1m to £2.5m from April 2026.
- 15% business rates relief for pubs and live music venues in 2026/27.
